Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents in Virginia. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensure comfort, and uphold vehicle safety standards on every trip.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, driving logs, and maintaining cleanliness. A valid license, CPR as required, and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; age 21+
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• CPR certification when required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment
• Complete required driving logs and documentation
• Report resident changes in condition
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Assist with activities when not driving
