Health Dimensions Group is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations at an assisted living community in Rochester, MN. The DON will oversee resident care, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance to uphold safety and quality of life for residents.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, have prior nursing leadership in senior care, and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, and team leadership to foster a patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing as required by regulations.
• Previous nursing leadership experience in senior care.
• Strong knowledge of clinical standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead a team, manage priorities, and make sound clinical decisions.
• Passion for serving older adults and supporting their quality of life.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care.
• Lead, coach, and develop nursing staff and caregivers.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate resident assessments, service plans, medication management, and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with community leadership, residents, families, and healthcare providers.
• Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and clinical documentation.
• Support infection prevention, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a positive team culture focused on resident satisfaction and person-centered care.
