Job summary

Friendsview Retirement Community in Newberg, OR is seeking a Dining Services Supervisor to lead daily front-of-house dining operations across the campus, hire, train, coach, and support dining team members, and ensure outstanding customer service and resident satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in dining, restaurant, hospitality, or food service, supervisory experience, ServSafe or ability to obtain, and a valid driver's license, with a Thursday–Monday schedule and competitive benefits

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current Food Handler Card
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house dining operations across campus
• Hire, train, coach, and support dining team members
• Create schedules and help manage staffing
• Ensure outstanding customer service and resident satisfaction
• Partner with culinary and healthcare teams to meet residents' dietary needs
• Support residents with specialized and modified diets in Health Services
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and Oregon regulatory standards
• Assist with catered events, special meals, and campus celebrations
• Foster a positive, respectful, and team-focused workplace culture
