Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus with understanding of kitchen sanitation and codes.
• 6–12 months in serving, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings highly desirable.
• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, are available.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
• Maintain a smooth and enjoyable dining experience with a smile.
• Prepare the dining room before service by setting tables with linens and utensils.
• Clear tables after meals and reset for the next service.
• Communicate resident feedback to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and health regulations in Cogir standards.
