Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our senior residents, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive dining environment.

You will greet residents and guests, take orders, serve meals, and coordinate with kitchen staff to follow safety guidelines. We offer a supportive work environment, flexible schedules, and growth opportunities in a community-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• 6–12 months in serving, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
• Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents, serving food and beverages with a smile.
• Prepare the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Clear tables promptly after meals, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages.
• Ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
