Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Server to provide friendly, professional dining service to our senior residents in the community restaurant. You will ensure dietary needs are met and foster a welcoming, inclusive dining environment during meals and special events.

You will build meaningful relationships with residents while working in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment with flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.
• 6–12 months of serving/hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and preferences, including portions and special requests.
• Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents, serving with a smile.
• Set tables with linens, utensils, and glassware before service.
• Clear tables after meals and maintain cleanliness.
• Reset tables for the next service.
• Relay resident feedback to Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and Cogir standards.
