Friendship Village Sunset Hills in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Food Server for our Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. You will be the main contact for residents in the dining room, helping create a warm, welcoming dining experience.

We value a strong customer-service mindset, a positive attitude, and the ability to explain menus, take orders, and coordinate with kitchen staff. Prior serving experience is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience serving tables in a hotel, restaurant, or fine dining club is desirable.
• Ability to interpret and explain the menu, answer questions, and manage service.
• Ability to work closely with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; basic arithmetic.
• Commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the main point of contact for resident interactions in the dining room.
• Prepare dining tables with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
• Attend to residents as they arrive in the dining area.
• Present menus and assist residents in choosing food and beverages.
• Take food and beverage orders, ensuring timely communication to the kitchen.
• Deliver and serve items quickly and confirm residents receive correct orders.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and the kitchen.
• Assist in transporting food and items to and from the kitchen to dining or rooms.
