Job summary

Friendship Village STL seeks caring Food Server for our Assisted Living and Memory Care dining rooms. You will be the primary contact for residents in the dining area, prepare tables, and help residents with menus and beverage choices.

• Strong customer service focus and positive attitude toward residents and staff.
• Ability to interpret menus and assist residents in selection of meals.
• Ability to work closely with residents, guests, families and peers in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for resident interactions in the dining room.
• Prepare dining tables with cleanliness and organization.
• Attend to residents as they arrive in the dining area.
• Present menus and assist residents in choosing food and beverages.
• Take orders and communicate to kitchen staff promptly.
• Deliver and serve food quickly and ensure correct items.
• Clean and sanitize production areas and surfaces.
• Assist in transporting food and items to and from kitchen and rooms.
