Job summary

MorningStar of Albuquerque is seeking a friendly Server for our Senior Living community in Albuquerque, NM. This part-time role focuses on dining room service, accurate order taking, and delivering high-quality meals with gracious hospitality.

Schedule is part-time with weekend work; pay rate is $16.00+ per hour, based on experience. You will work in a care-focused environment and help residents enjoy their meals while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary and infection-free environment at all times.
• Oversee bistro areas as directed – food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages.
• Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
• Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
• Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
• Attend trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
