Job summary

MorningStar of Santa Fe is seeking a Dining Room Server (Part-time) to provide high-quality meal service and create a gracious environment for residents. The role emphasizes accurate order taking and clear communication with back-of-house staff, along with delivering exceptional resident service.

The position requires prior experience in dining settings preferred but not required, with English literacy, and is scheduled with pay rate of $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• English: ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary environment at all times.
• Oversee bistro areas as directed – food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages.
• Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
• Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
• Serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
• Participate in the Quality Assurance Committee as directed.
• Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal.
• Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
