Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Suffolk, VA is seeking a friendly Server to support the culinary team in our Bread Basket dining concept. You’ll interact with residents, serve meals timely, and help maintain a clean dining area.

You will wash dishes, follow the kitchen cleaning schedule, and complete assigned tasks with a learner’s mindset while delivering compassionate service to residents.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Organizational and time-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve food timely utilizing Bickford’s process.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans following Bickford’s dishwashing procedure.
• Complete assigned tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain dining room and dish machine area to meet cleanliness expectations.
