Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Suffolk, VA is seeking an evening server to support our dining team in a restaurant-style setting called the Bread Basket. You will serve meals to residents, interact during meals, and help maintain a clean dining area.

This position offers a full benefits package for full-time staff, with daily pay options and 401(k) with employer match. A Food Handlers Card is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• A Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Exhibit a learner's Mindset.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve food timely utilizing Bickford’s process.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans following Bickford’s dishwashing procedure.
• Complete assigned tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain dining room and dish machine area to meet Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness.
