Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to lead and organize our healthcare dining room team, ensuring smooth service for residents. You will assist with staffing, training, and daily operations to maintain high standards of hospitality and care.

Ideal candidates will have a background in dining services, a willingness to supervise diverse age groups, and strong communication skills in English. This role is full-time, on-site, with a competitive pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Prior experience in dining service preferred.
• Additional management education/training desirable.
• Minimum age 18.
• Genuine desire to work with a geriatric population.
• Ability to supervise and direct others across varied age groups.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dining Operations Manager in supervising and scheduling all dining staff.
• Assist with orientation and training of dining room staff.
• Assign duties to staff as needed.
• Join in service when necessary to maintain smooth operation.
• Monitor service quality to ensure high standards.
• Provide input on resident meal service, satisfaction, and tray service.
• Coordinate resident meal requests and update dietary needs; print meal tickets.
• Provide menu information to residents and staff.
