Covenant Living & CovenantCare at Home is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to lead dining staff, coordinate resident meals, and ensure quality service within our Continuing Care Retirement Community network.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, dining service experience, and a genuine interest in geriatric care. The role involves supervising diverse staff and maintaining efficient, friendly dining operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Prior dining service experience preferred.
• Additional education in management desirable.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Genuine interest in geriatric care and resident well-being.
• Ability to supervise and direct a diverse staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and schedules wait staff, attendants, the relief dining room supervisor and dishwashers.
• Works with the Dining Services Director to hire, evaluate, discipline and terminate dining room staff.
• Directs the orientation and training of dining room staff.
• Sets up work station assignments and assigns duties to staff.
• Monitors service to ensure high quality and proper seating flow.
• Coordinates resident meal requests and records meal counts.
• Enters billing information in the Horizon POS system.
