Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a Front of House Supervisor for Oakmont of Montecito, a premier senior living community in California. The role oversees dining service quality, staff performance, and guest satisfaction, with duties spanning from service to POS system management and staff training.

You will help plan meals, supervise servers, and ensure clean, safe dining areas while supporting residents and families, aligning with Oakmont’s standards of care and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in food service/management preferred.
• Experience supervising restaurant staff preferred.
• Ability to operate POS system and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the service of meals to ensure resident enjoyment and consistent service.
• Assist residents and servers in meal service (salads, soups, entrees, beverages, desserts) as needed.
• Ensure dining room POS system operates efficiently; troubleshoot and train staff.
• Maintain proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Supervise cleaning and side work in dining room and kitchen; assign side work.
