Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Idaho Falls is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee daily dining services and staff on a full-time basis. You will supervise meal service, train team members, and ensure a sanitary, resident-focused dining experience.

Qualifications

• Dietician, ADA, Diet Technician, chef, and/or dietary manager certifications required per state regulatory agency.
• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Three years of experience in a senior living dietary department preferred; experience in healthcare or restaurant settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food service and dining staff.
• Be present in dining rooms for full meal service.
• Coordinate special functions and corporate meeting food service.
• Attend daily manager stand-up meetings.
• Maintain high sanitation standards and infection control practices.
• Oversee bistro areas, presentation, cleanliness, and supplies.
• Ensure supplies and beverage equipment are maintained and ordered as needed.
• Manage labor cost and staffing schedules.
• Review resident diet information and care plans with staff and dietitian as necessary.
