Job summary

Legacy House of Park Lane seeks a Dining Room Server to create meaningful moments for residents. You will welcome guests, assist with seating, take orders, and deliver meals with attentiveness and care.

You will maintain a clean dining area, stock supplies, and follow safety guidelines while communicating professionally with residents and staff. This full-time role offers benefits through Western States Lodging & Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of experience; dining or customer service helpful but not required.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit or ServeSafe Certification as required by state.
• Strong customer service and a welcoming personality.
• Patience and willingness to care for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment.
• Attention to detail with table setup and service.
• Ability to follow instructions and company policies.
• Effective communication with residents, families, supervisors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and guests with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Assist residents with seating and provide menus.
• Take orders and serve meals in a polished manner.
• Communicate with residents to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Set, clear, and reset dining tables promptly.
• Refill beverages and stock condiments and supplies.
• Maintain dining room appearance and cleanliness.
• Follow all food-handling, safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain hygiene and appearance standards.
• Communicate positively with residents, families, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director.
