Job summary

Legacy House of Centennial Hills is seeking a Dining Room Server dedicated to providing thoughtful, attentive service to residents and guests. You will handle orders, seating, and dietary accommodations while maintaining a warm, dignified dining atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in dining, hospitality, customer service, senior living or related fields.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit or ServeSafe Certification as required by the state.
• Strong customer service with a welcoming, professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Leadership ability to guide newer team members.
• Patience and care for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Effective communication with residents, families, supervisors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and guests with friendly, attentive service.
• Take orders and serve meals in a polished, professional manner.
• Handle special requests and seating accommodations.
• Assist with seating arrangements and reservations during busy times.
• Monitor dining area for cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Set, clear, and reset tables efficiently.
• Refill beverages and stock condiments and supplies.
• Assist with training new Dining Room Servers.
• Respond professionally to questions, concerns, and complaints.
• Follow food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with residents, families, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director.
