Job summary

QSL Management in Vermont seeks a Server for Washington Commons by Barclay House. You will deliver gracious hospitality to residents and guests, assist in Bar and Coffee Shop, and guide guests with menu knowledge.

We value a caring, flexible individual with a HS diploma, POS familiarity, and hospitality experience. ServSafe certification is a plus, and weekend/holiday shifts are common.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• ServSafe Certification if state requirements apply.
• Food server/hospitality experience.
• Bar Card preferred if applicable to state requirements.
• Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and meet hospitality standards.
• Knowledge of a POS system preferred.
• Able to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide gracious hospitality to residents and guests.
• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guide guests through menus with thorough knowledge of offerings.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health in dining areas.
• Take accurate orders and coordinate with staff to deliver prompt, world-class service.
• Set and reset tables per company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Assist with stocking bar, coffee shop, and front-of-house needs.
• Support special events and activities as requested.
