Regency Newcastle is seeking caring individuals to join our retirement and assisted living team as Server/Dietary Helper. You will prepare and deliver meals to residents, confirm satisfaction, bus and reset tables, and assist with food prep while maintaining infection control standards.

You will relate with residents, families, volunteers, and staff in a home-like environment, contributing to dignity, privacy, independence, and comfort for residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's card.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Compassion and interest in working with the senior population.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and a home-like environment for residents.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and deliver food to residents and confirm meal satisfaction.
• Bus tables and reset tables after meals.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.
• Ensure sanitation and infection control standards.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, volunteers, and staff.
