Job summary

Sauk County Health Care Center is seeking a Dining Assistant to support meal preparation, service, and cleanup for residents. You will help ensure meals are served on time, maintain sanitary conditions, and interact compassionately with residents and their families.

The role includes varied shifts from early morning to evening, with opportunities to contribute to quality patient care. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and prior food service experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service or care setting preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and hygiene guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents and set up meal carts.
• Serve meals, snacks, and drinks to residents.
• Assist with inventory and stocking of supplies.
• Monitor food temperatures and kitchen sanitation.
• Interact with residents and families with care and respect.
• Record and accommodate resident meal preferences.
• Assist with meal cleanup and event catering as needed.
