Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport is seeking an experienced Food Service Aide to deliver meals to residents and guests in a restaurant-style dining setting. You will assist with meal tray preparation, set up dining areas, and ensure a high-quality dining experience.

This full-time position requires physical stamina to lift 25 pounds, stand and walk throughout the shift, and maintain high personal hygiene. We offer paid time off, tuition reimbursement, health and retirement benefits, and licensure

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and printed instructions.
• High degree of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to push tray carts and lift 25 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for the full shift.
• Must treat residents and the public with kindness and respect.
• Ability to use the point of service system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to residents and guests in a restaurant-style setting.
• Prepare meal trays with items on trays and set dining room for service.
• Wait on tables in a restaurant-style manner with proper etiquette.
• Assist in creating a positive dining atmosphere for residents and guests.
• Deliver tray carts and nourishment to nursing areas.
• Maintain daily cleaning and sanitation of dishes, utensils and work areas.
• Assist with special food functions as directed.
