Job summary

White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community in La Jolla, CA, is seeking individuals to join our dining services team. Part-Time: Saturday and Sunday; 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.; Thursday and Friday 3:30 p.m. -- 7:30 p.m.

Pay rate is $18.25-$21.00/hr. Duties include setting tray cards, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring resident satisfaction. Requirements include 6 months experience, seniors experience preferred, and ServSafe/food handler certification preferred; must be available

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in related field preferred
• Experience working with seniors preferred
• Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Set tray cards; read tray service memo, set tray line and dish up soup, dinners, salads, desserts, coffee, water
• Fill out menu; set tables for next meal; checks for supplies
• Assist in preparation of food
• Deliver and pick up food carts
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and kitchen; adhere to sanitary guidelines
• Ensure resident satisfaction by reflecting professionalism and customer service
