Job summary

Green Hills Community is recruiting a hospitality-focused Dietary Aide to join our team. This role performs a number of kitchen activities including assisting cooks in the service of meals to guests in accordance with the guest's individual dietary needs, sanitary handling of all food and non-food items, and more.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a starting pay of $15.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and perform simple math.
• Knowledge of recipes or special diets is a plus but not required.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nourishments, juices, and beverages for Health Care Center residents and Assisted Living tenants, following written guidelines.
• Serve meals to Health Care Center residents.
• Set up and clean dining rooms to prepare for meals.
• Assist cooks in food preparation, including dishing up sides, cutting desserts, and more.
