Job summary

Frontier Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide for Senior Living at The Greens, St. Augustine, FL. This full-time role offers daytime hours (approx. 6am-2pm) and an hourly wage of $15.00–$16.00. You will assist in dining services, support resident care, and ensure clean and orderly dining areas.

Responsibilities include meal service support, dish room duties, and coordinating with cooks and staff to meet residents’ needs. Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• English language proficiency adequate for interacting with residents and staff and following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform all dietary services as outlined in the Resident Handbook and Care Plan.
• Support food service programs that stimulate residents’ interests and attributes.
• Resolve potential food service and care coordination problems with team members and leaders.
• Assist food service personnel as needed, including serving and setting tables.
• Monitor salad bar, beverage and service stations and refill as directed.
• Assist the cook with serving meals and keep the dining room clean.
• Wash utensils, chinaware, silverware and glassware; clean coffee pots and the beverage area.
• Clean the dish room and related areas; mop floors and organize janitor’s closet.
• Deliver room service trays as instructed.
• Present a professional demeanor reflecting the corporate service philosophy.
