Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Platte City is actively seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department. You will supervise cooks and aides, coordinate meal service, and ensure compliance with food safety and resident nutrition plans.

In this role you will partner with the Registered Dietitian and interdisciplinary teams to meet residents’ dietary needs and regulatory requirements while maintaining quality dining experiences with hospitality and respect.

Qualifications

• CDM certification or equivalent credential required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Knowledge of food service regulations, sanitation, and nutrition principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a team and budgets, maintain schedule and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, train, and support Dietary staff.
• Coordinate daily meal preparation, service, portion control, and cleanup.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor food temperatures, storage, and infection-prevention practices.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate ordering with vendors.
• Assist with budget tracking and cost-control initiatives.
