Job summary

Premier Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals that meet the standards of the American Dietetic Association and serve in a clean, safe environment. This role maintains high-quality nutritional services daily and supports residents with care.

You will follow ordered diets, manage inventory, ensure sanitation, and assist the dining team while showing compassion for the elderly in our community.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School Graduate or GED.
• Prefer 1–2 years of experience cooking for large quantities.
• Must be Serve-Safe certified or willing to obtain it.
• Meet health requirements including TB testing and immunizations.
• Pass background check and random drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals palatable, appetizing in appearance, and appropriate for each resident, following recipes.
• Knowledgeable on diets (NCS, CCD) and food consistency orders.
• Clean and inspect equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas for cleanliness and operation.
• Compile and maintain records of food use and expenditures including inventory.
• Maintain kitchen in compliance with state/local health regulations and be inspection-ready.
• Supervise dining staff in absence of Dining Director.
• Maintain Standard Precautions and emergency procedures and know how to use them.
• Show compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
