Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction science, engineering, or related field.
• Five or more years of general contractor, developer or construction-related experience, including management.
• Strong understanding of general construction terminology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate design, preconstruction and general construction activities for senior living projects in California.
• Support early-stage pursuits, due diligence, project budgeting, capital planning and constructability assessments.
• Interface with project teams on drawing/spec development, pricing, procurement strategy, and contracts.
• Manage and develop Assistant Construction Managers as needed.
• Monitor and review contractors' work regarding budget, schedule, quality, and owner's program.
• Direct and coordinate activities of architects, engineers, consultants and contractors for senior living and CA regulatory requirements.
• Prepare construction updates, cost estimates, budget updates, and change order reports.
• Review working drawings and administer change order procedures.
