Job summary

Dow Rummel Village in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a friendly Server to join our non‑profit senior life plan community dining team. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver meals, and support deli operations with a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities include coordinating with kitchen staff, maintaining menu knowledge, handling POS orders accurately, and ensuring a high‑quality dining experience across restaurant and catering service when needed.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Experience using a POS system preferred.
• Available to work weekends, evenings and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they sit or enter the deli, take drink and food orders, and deliver with care.
• Perform opening/closing duties and assist with deli/restaurant tasks as scheduled.
• Remain knowledgeable of menu and specials to explain them effectively.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely orders.
• Input and close out orders in the POS system accurately.
• Maintain safe food handling practices and support cooks as needed.
