Qualifications

• Experience in culinary leadership or kitchen management.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care dining preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, kitchen operations, and food safety.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a culinary team.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Director of Culinary with managing daily kitchen and dining operations.
• Supervise, train, and support culinary staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service.
• Assist with menu planning and preparation, ensuring meals are appealing, nutritious, and appropriate for senior living residents.
• Oversee food inventory, ordering, and supply management while helping control costs and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Monitor food preparation, presentation, and kitchen efficiency.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
