Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Newburgh, IN is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Services Manager to oversee our dining program and uphold high standards of safety and sanitation across the kitchen and dining areas.

You will plan diverse menus, manage inventory and purchasing to meet budget goals, and lead, mentor, and schedule the dietary team to deliver exceptional service with compassion and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Food Handling certification required.
• Experience managing dietary services preferred in a senior living setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Leadership and ability to mentor and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the food service program with high-quality dietary services while ensuring safety and sanitation protocols.
• Plans and prepares a diverse menu that accommodates dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Maintains food service areas including the kitchen and dining areas.
• Conducts inventory and purchasing to meet dietary budget guidelines.
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the dietary team in providing exceptional dietary service.
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and dignified manner.
