Job summary

Bel Rae Senior Living in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our growing team. The role involves assisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while promoting resident well-being.

Shifts run 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, full-time with wage range $17.50–$22.50 per hour. Previous senior living experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
• Deliver nourishment and snacks appropriately.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
• Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.
