Job summary

Pennant is seeking a Cook for our senior living community in New Berlin, Wisconsin. You will prepare meals for residents, follow recipes, and maintain high sanitation standards while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

The role requires at least one year of cooking experience and Serv-Safe certification (or willingness to obtain). You will work with the Food Service Director to manage stock and ensure quality presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience (some short order cooking).
• Serv-Safe certification required or willing to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to residents and staff.
• Maintain sanitation and safety procedures and high-quality food prep and presentation.
• Order, receive, and rotate stock with Food Service Director.
• Read and follow recipes for consistency of product.
• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned.
• Assist in meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.
• Follow food safety and equipment procedures and adhere to quality standards.
