Cedar Ridge Village in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare meals according to cycle menus, maintain food safety, and help create a restaurant-style dining experience for residents.

The role requires high school diploma, some cooking experience, and Serv Safe certification within the first year. We offer full-time and part-time shifts, competitive wages, and a supportive team dedicated to quality care.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Culinary training preferred.
• Serv Safe certification must be completed within the first year of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate food preparation and meal service, including nutritional snacks.
• Monitor temperature of hot and cold foods through food preparation and service.
• Plan and initiate cooking schedule for food preparation to meet meal schedules.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with inventory.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Clean equipment and work areas as assigned.
• Follow defined safety codes, infection control procedures, and emergency plans.
