Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous cooking experience in a senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting (preferred).
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, ensuring food is nutritious and appetizing.
• Meal Service: Ensure meals are served in a timely manner with high quality and presentation.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen clean, sanitary, and organized with proper storage of supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the Dietary Manager and staff to ensure smooth operations.

• Resident Engagement: Accommodate dietary requests and preferences to ensure satisfaction.
