StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare appetizing, nutritious meals that meet daily dietary needs for residents. The role emphasizes following standardized recipes, coordinating with Registered Dietitians on menu cycles, and ensuring meals are served safely and on time in a supportive care environment.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of institutional food service experience and a solid understanding of nutrition and therapeutic diets.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year experience in institutional food service (preferred).
• Basic understanding of nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills.
• Understanding of person-centered care.
• Ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.

Responsabilidades

• Handle and store all food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
• Follow standardized recipes.
• Prepare foods that follow menu cycles developed by Registered Dietitians.
• Cook appetizing, nutritious meals at proper temperatures and times.
• Use food supplies and equipment efficiently to prevent waste.
• Prepare and maintain food alternatives for resident preferences and refusals.
