Homestead of Algona is seeking a Cook to join our warm senior community, delivering delicious and nutritious meals with care. You will help prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and providing a welcoming dining experience.

You will work with our dietary team to tailor menus to residents' needs, plan special meals for birthdays and holidays, and manage inventory and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for our residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
• Plan and prepare special meals and events, such as birthdays and holidays
• Collaborate with our dietary team to ensure menu plans meet the needs of our residents and catering to their dietary restrictions
• Manage food inventory, ordering and stocking supplies as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to our residents, ensuring a positive dining experience
