Indigo Hall is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, high-quality meals to residents at Indigo Hall.

Responsibilities include preparing meals, serving with quality and timeliness, and maintaining a clean kitchen while following food safety standards. You will collaborate with the Dietary Manager and staff, assist with inventory, and adapt menus to resident needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant settings preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, ensuring nutritious and appetizing dishes.
• Serve meals punctually with high quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen per safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Dietary Manager and kitchen staff; assist in training.
• Assist with inventory and track food supplies; report shortages.
• Respond to dietary requests and accommodate residents’ preferences.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and sanitation practices.
