Qualifications

• Cooking experience preferred in healthcare, institutional, or high-volume food service.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to follow recipes and modified-diet instructions.
• Strong time management, organization, and teamwork.
• ServSafe or equivalent food-safety certification preferred or as required.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to planned menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
• Serve food on time and at safe, appropriate temperatures.
• Follow food-handling, sanitation, infection-control, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and work area.
• Monitor inventory and assist with receiving, storage, and supply needs.
