Job summary

Sonata Lake Mary in Florida is seeking a dedicated Community Cook to prepare meals safely and appetizingly for residents, under the supervision of the Food & Beverage Director.

You will follow dietary standards, handle kitchen equipment, supervise servers when needed, and maintain cleanliness. Serv Safe certification and fluency in English are required; experience with senior diets is a plus. This is a full-time, hourly position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Serv Safe Certification required.
• Knowledge of health and safety in food preparation.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals per daily menu within scheduled time frame.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and kitchen areas.
• Assists in supervising servers when Food & Beverage Director is unavailable.
• Adheres to dietary standards and resident care policies.
• Reports losses or waste to supervisor.
