Job summary

Lincoln Village Senior Living, part of Heritage Senior Living, is seeking a dependable Cook to join the culinary team in Port Washington, WI. You will prepare appealing meals and contribute to a warm, home-like dining experience for residents and guests.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you’ll ensure safety, sanitation, and menu execution while collaborating with a caring team to deliver consistent quality and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food-service or culinary certification is a plus.
• Previous food preparation or cooking experience required.
• Senior living, healthcare, institutional food service, hospitality, or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and production standards.
• Follow proper portioning, presentation, and serving methods.
• Prepare meals according to resident preferences, dietary needs, and instructions.
• Ensure food is prepared and served safely, accurately, and on time.
• Monitor food quality, temperatures, appearance, and presentation during prep and service.
