Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager in a restaurant-style dining setting for residents. You will prepare meals, keep to menus, serve food hot and attractively, and assist during tours and events.

Responsibilities include following procedures, maintaining cleanliness, handling resident diets, allergies and preferences, and keeping records. Benefits and daily pay options are available based on status.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and plate appropriately.
• Ensure kitchen and dining areas follow Bickford’s policies and regulatory requirements.
• Interact with residents to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes and kitchenware per procedure.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide and cleaning schedules.
• Track diets, allergies and preferences for residents.
• Maintain accurate food service records and storage per regulations.
• Support tours and events with appropriate beverages and food.
