Job summary

The Heritage at Twin Creeks is seeking a PRN Cook/Dishwasher to support onsite dining for our senior residents. You will review menus, prepare ingredients, and work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely meals, while following strict food safety and sanitation procedures.

This role offers opportunities to contribute creatively to menu planning, maintain a clean kitchen, and support inventory and equipment maintenance in a dynamic care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience is preferred.
• English speaking, reading and writing is essential for communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review the menu and prepare ingredients according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Cook meals and assist in dishwashing as part of kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and serving to residents.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures and keep the kitchen clean and organized.
• Assist in inventory management and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Contribute to menu planning and high-quality meal presentation.
