Sagora Senior Living is seeking a friendly Cook at Landon Ridge Kingwood community to prepare high-quality meals for residents.

As a team member, you will stock, maintain sanitation, train culinary staff, and serve meals promptly with care. Experience in a commercial kitchen and ServSafe certification are valued, with strong communication skills essential to interact with residents and families.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Ability to prepare specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with residents, families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items
• Monitor stock
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner
