Juniper Communities is seeking a dedicated Cook to assist the Executive Chef/Dining Services Manager in preparing quality meals for residents, staff, and visitors. This role supports a welcoming dining environment while ensuring safety and cleanliness in all kitchen operations.

The position is full-time with every other weekend required. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and culinary education or ServSafe certification where applicable.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary education preferred.
• Servsafe certification where required by state.
• Knowledge of food preparation and large-volume cooking.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to menus and dietary needs.
• Support communication and teamwork between Dining Services and other community teams.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection control, and equipment safety standards.
• Assist with planning and preparing food for special events.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Properly operate and care for kitchen equipment and supplies.
