Responsibilities include following menu cycles, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with serving and warewashing, and visiting residents to assess dining satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional criteria and correctly prepare diets.
• Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
• Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary.
• Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service quality and appearance; make revisions as needed.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner to create a positive marketing environment.
• Support business decisions and employee engagement to drive occupancy.
