Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen environment. You will follow standardized recipes, manage food safety temperatures, and accommodate dietary modifications.

The role includes assisting dining services, recording production quantities, and potentially leading food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
