Provincial Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team and prepare hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar, and service lines. You will ensure portion control and follow standardized recipes to deliver quality meals for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has experience in senior living or related food service sectors, excellent organization, and strong communication. Weekend work is required, and benefits are offered as part of our full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living, restaurants, catering, or banquets preferred
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
