Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is hiring a Cook at our Pecan Point Assisted Living & Memory Care community in Sherman, TX. You will prepare à la carte items, monitor stock, and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced, resident-focused kitchen environment.

Experience in a commercial kitchen and ServSafe certification are preferred, along with strong communication skills to coordinate with residents, families, and team members. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Pecan Point location.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
