Sagora Senior Living is seeking a part-time Cook for Asher Point of Tyler, providing meals to residents in a compassionate, senior-focused environment. You will prepare a la carte items, monitor inventory, and maintain sanitation while working with a friendly culinary team.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of kitchen experience, ServSafe certification, and a valid Food Handler's permit, and must communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler's permit as regulated by state and local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items
• Monitor stock
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner
